Server Farm 1956

Joke #1 - Facebook research laboratories, 1956. Tony gave Rob a "like", overtaxing the server and melting the facility to a molten crater, crippling the technology of liking people until 2009.

Joke #2 - The first ATMs were installed at a government facility in the Nevada desert in 1956. Tony, the second tester ever to use such a device, had to choose "2" as his PIN number. To his dismay, he had found that his first choice was already in use.

Joke #3 - In 1956, the U.S. Army broke ground on a subterranean computational center. Six years later, the first Tactical Assault Recipe was stored.

Joke #4 - "Okay, I pushed 'C'. Run over to the display building and see if it came up on the screen."

Joke #5 - "My bulb is boring. Yours goes on and off. After lunch, can we trade workstations?"

Joke #6 - America Online technology bunker, 1956. Tony, the second tester ever to sign up for the service, had to choose "MisterFancyHotBalls_2" as his screen name. To his dismay, he had found that his first choice was already in use.

Joke #7 comes from new reader MisterFancyHotBalls_2! Welcome aboard, MFHB2, and thanks for the joke!Tony stared in nervous disbelief, as his online dating service matched him perfectly to Larry, who was standing at the terminal next to him.

You're right, MFHB_3! However, it seems they had yet to learn that you need to have those concentric ringy thingies on the floor too. How many researchers had their torsos needlessly transported, leaving their legs behind, and a hug mess to clean up? Hindsight is 20/20.

Thanks for reading, MFHB_3!
