I wish my gramma the church organist was still here to share this with - - - - - she was always so disappointed in my musical taste. She would have gotten a kick out of this one. About this time of year she would make us a round of snowshoes (brandy & peppermint schnapps) and we'd unwind at the kitchen table after the dishes were done. Nobody parties like an old lady!
Jack: The LP scrub layer was found via Google image search. It's the best one in the search results. It's a black album with the wear showing in white. Some levels adjustment was necessary to push the "album ring" forward and suppress the "miscellaneous too-bright noise", but essentially it's the same.
Oh, fine. I gues it WAS a bit of work to get it to look right, even if it was found the lazy way on Google. Look for it in the post. Thanks, Jim!
